Early access — every deal settles through a 2-of-3 Safe multisig, not a smart contract.

Escrow for domain sales. Zero commission.

OakGavel does not take a cut of your sale, and it settles in the crypto you already hold — no bank, no country list, no percentage off the top.

The price

OakGavel charges 0% commission, always. Escrow.com charges a $50 minimum (2.6% under $5,000) — that is 25% on a $200 domain, and about 8% on the $595 median .com sale Sedo reported in 2026.

Crypto, actually

Escrow.com's own FAQ says it cannot process any cryptocurrency. OakGavel settles directly in USDC, ETH or cbBTC on Base — the coin you already hold.

No exclusion list

Escrow.com blocks sellers and buyers from Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Venezuela and more than thirty other countries. OakGavel only asks for a wallet address — no KYC, no country list.

Why your money is safe

Funds sit in a Safe multisig — the same contract securing billions on-chain. It takes two of its three keys to move anything, so no single key can act alone. Who those keys belong to, and how many it takes, are public facts you can read on BaseScan before you send a cent.

Who holds the keys

For a domain deal, the Safe's three signers are the buyer, the seller, and OakGavel. No single one of us can move the funds — OakGavel included. Buyer and seller together already hold two of the three signatures: if OakGavel disappeared tomorrow, the two of you could still recover the money without us.

How a domain deal moves

01

List the domain

The seller publishes it as a gig with an asking price.

02

Buyer funds the Safe

The buyer hires the gig and the price lands in the deal's Safe — on-chain and visible before anything moves.

03

Transfer at the registrar

The seller pushes the domain to the buyer's account and submits the delivery on the deal page.

04

Two signatures release it

Buyer confirms the transfer landed, OakGavel co-signs, and the Safe pays the seller.
